Dr Graham Adams has always had a passionate interest in animals and has dedicated his life to the study of their behaviour and welfare. His early research, focused on stress related problems in dogs and their aggression towards people. Dr Graham Adams has appeared numerous times as an expert witness in court, and as a TV and other media commentator regarding animal behaviour.

 

Academic qualifications

Dr Adams’s formal qualifications include international certification from the Animal Behavior Society as an Applied Animal Behaviorist: A PhD in Human and Animal Interaction - Behavior and Physiology (Division of Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences, Murdoch University, Western Australia, 1995): A Bachelor of Science degree and a Graduate Diploma in Education.

In his many years experience in the field of Animal Behaviour, Dr Adams’s key roles have included substantial responsibilities in research, supervision of postgraduate students, lecturing, public speaking, writing and editing a wide range of publications. Dr Adams founded H.A.B.I.T.S to provide “Happy solutions for problem behaviours” in companion-animals.
