When
serious behaviour problems are referred to us we employ
the H.A.B.I.T.S. approach to solve them. Firstly, we
determine the true causes of the problems. Then by considering
the animal’s needs, the interaction of people
and other contributing environmental factors, we design
an individual program to bring about a thorough understanding
and a long-term resolution. We provide sound advice
to the companion-animal owner, their family and where
applicable their neighbours.
Dr Graham Adams is the founder of H.A.B.I.T.S. He has
spent a lifetime studying the behaviour of people and
their interaction with animals. He was awarded a BSc.,
GradDipEd. and a PhD from the School of Veterinary and
Biomedical Sciences, Murdoch University, Western Australia.
The Animal Behavior Society has accredited Dr Adams
as a Certified Applied Animal Behaviourist. Then in
1995 Dr Graham Adams founded H.A.B.I.T.S. Pty Ltd. Graham
has formerly acted as the Animal Welfare Officer and
the Executive Director of the Murdoch University Foundation
for Continuing Veterinary Education.
We are delighted to say that we at H.A.B.I.T.S. have
saved the lives of thousands of animals and the sanity
of those people around them.
